I did indeed, and sent it to my Dad (who had just returned from seeing it— and who has written his memoir about coming of age in the 60s).

Thanks, Allison. I hope your dad liked the movie, too. The '60s were an interesting time. I'm glad that your dad is capturing it in his memoir!

You’ve really gotten me interested in seeing the movie now, Cheryl. I feel so lucky to have been growing up during the 50s, 60s and 70s. There was so much going on and making social change seemed achievable. Those times impressed upon me the importance of being politically active. Still am, fifty years later.

Thanks, Denise. I think you would enjoy it! We certainly have witnessed a lot of social change. Some of it has been solidified, yet other issues seem to be a case of one step forward, one step back.

Thanks Cheryl. Such a wonderful review and tales of the time. If you ask me, Paul K. was a damn fool.

Good memories. PP&M were the Homecoming theme at ISU about 1963.

Big Dylan fan, really enjoyed it. Great acting, I esp liked Ed Norton as Pete Seger.

Thanks, Tim. Yes, Ed Norton was terrific! I was less familiar with other members of the cast, but I think they also were well-cast.

Not a big fan of Dylan's records, but I enjoyed your review and I look forward to seeing the film.

Thanks, John. I think you might like the film. Timothee Chalamet, who plays Dylan, does his own singing. Dylan ruined what voice he had by smoking so much (my opinion, of course!)
