Hi, Denise. Yes, as I remember, I was conflicted in my response. I did not want to embarrass his wife (who I knew through grade school and high school); I did not want to upset my sister, since she lived with the woman for a year or so after high school. I do know that I didn't make a scene; I just grimaced, and attempted to pull away my arm, and he released me. Somehow, my sister and I quickly veered away from the subject!
