Cheryl you have done it again. Thank you for your part in raising hell. I became aware of Mary Lease early in the Farm Crisis but was unaware of Doris Royal. There are so many women who have moved this country forward without seeking glory or recognition - they saw an injustice and fought to change it. I’ve been channeling the women suffragists who Louise Noun wrote about in Strong Minded Women. They worked incredibly hard for decades so we could have the right to vote. Thank goodness.
