Thanks for sharing some of the stories of those who have testified. I noticed some dissatisfaction with the pipeline companies, their owners and the IUB, but I did not see any anger directed towards the legislature (which declined to enact a law limiting eminent domain) or the governor (who appointed members of the IUB). I wonder if they will ever make those connections.

Ah, yes, and think how much more could be accomplished if all this tax credit money were targeted toward cover crop incentives and changing farmer mentality about soil and water conservation in general. Iowa could have improved water quality, improved carbon sequestration, improved soil health. Those downstream would be better off as well.

This whole pipeline concept is such a failure of the imagination.

And again, most of our Republican politicians are either backing the pipelines or sitting quietly without comment.
