Excellent commentary. Big whoop indeed, Governor Reynolds! Kudos to Rob Sand for exposing her back-handed work. And the Republican who wants to be VP claims Democrats are anti-children!

Thanks, Josiah! Yes, so thankful for Sand's tenacity. Indeed, who is anti-child here?

Good analysis, once again, Cheryl!

Sigh.

Thanks, Larry. Yes, only one way to reverse things. . . . come November!

It has been so hard to watch the decline in education priority by our current governor. I used to be proud of Iowa's commitment to quality education, but not now. I hope our legislators will eventually listen to the people they are supposed to represent. And I look forward to the time when I have better choices to vote for.

Amen and Amen, Kathy! Thank you for your support!

Starve public education. Dumb 'em down... that way you can turn them into low-information Republican voters. Used to regard this sentiment as borderline conspiracy cloth... but now I'm not so sure. How long will it take before citizens of this once great state wake up one morning with the epiphany... "Hey, wait... I'm voting against my own self interests!" Can't come soon enough. Vote blue.

Thanks, Kevin. Yes, I don't subscribe to conspiracies. But, this is a situation that I think may be an actual strategy!
